  • American Antiquarian Society Fellowships: The American Antiquarian Society (AAS) maintains a major research library in American history, literature, and culture through 1876 in Worcester, MA. The AAS-NEH fellows are part of a community that includes the AAS staff, area college and university faculty, and the recipients of AAS short-term fellowships (including scholars from all over the U.S. and abroad, Ph.D. candidates, and creative artists and writers producing work for the general public) and other long-term fellows.   • Youth Organizing Fellowship: The Youth Organizing Fellowship is a paid opportunity to grow as a leader, build power with a national cohort of youth organizers, and advocate for the separation of church and state and inclusive religious freedom, including the issues that depend on them like abortion access, LGBTQ+ rights, strong public schools, and a functioning democracy. This Fellowship is right for you if you are already an activist in your community and want to dive deeper into advocacy for the separation of church and state.   • TED Fellows: Every year, through a rigorous application process, TED selects a group of rising stars across all disciplines to be TED Fellows based on remarkable achievement, strength of character, and an innovative approach to solving the world’s tough problems. Once selected, Fellows receive transformational support. Fellows are invited to attend a TED Conference, where they meet, exchange ideas, and give their own TED Talk. They participate in a professional coaching and mentoring program, work with a public relations expert dedicated to sharing their latest projects with the world, and are active in an online network, resulting in collective problem-solving, cross-disciplinary collaborations, and resource sharing.   • MIF Research Fellowship Program: The Matsumae International Foundation’s Research Fellowship Program is particularly geared toward enhancing Japan’s foreign relations with other nations and ensuring the preservation of mankind. Fellowships are for 3-6 months of research in Japan with an institution of the fellow’s choosing. Fellows must hold a Ph.D., be over 49 years old, and have an interest in solving major problems facing humanity.   • EnCorps STEM Teaching Fellowship: Transition your previous science, tech, engineering, or math industry experience into a teaching career. They offer a career pathway that supports and guides you to transition to teaching, you begin your two hours per week volunteer guest teaching for 10 consecutive weeks. EnCorps provides 1:1 planning and support, a cohort of peers, mandatory guest teacher training, teacher licensing options, and a network of over 250 high-needs schools in California and New York City. Applicants must have 1+ years of work or research experience as a STEM industry professional and currently live in an area of the specific cities of California or the New York City Metropolitan Area. / Apply by June 30, 2024

 

  • Education Week Gregory M. Chronister Journalism Fellowship: The Education Week Gregory M. Chronister Journalism Fellowship supports a recipient who undertakes a significant enterprising or investigative journalism project that promises to inform and educate the field and the public about a timely and important issue for pre-K-12 education. The fellowship, which is intended to be completed while the recipient continues his or her regular employment, provides financial support of up to $10,000. All topics with broader implications to American education are eligible and projects will be published in Education Week when completed. / Apply by June 30, 2024

 

  • Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) Scholarships: Every year, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) awards several need-based scholarships to students for their college studies. The awards are based on academic performance, community development work, and other similar factors. The online application process is run through Award Spring, and the ISNA Scholarships Committee makes the final selections. Eligible applicants must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents, enrolled in a US-accredited college/university, and Muslim students actively engaged in the community development work.   • MPOWER Women in STEM Scholarship: The MPOWER Women in STEM Scholarships are awarded annually to female international/DACA students who are currently enrolled or accepted to study full-time in a STEM degree program at a program MPOWER supports in the United States or Canada. This scholarship program focuses on women who will use their STEM degrees to benefit society and the planet and who have the potential to serve as role models and advocates for women in STEM. This scholarship is specifically for international and DACA students. The Grand Prize is $6,000, the Runner-Up is $2,000, and the Honorable Mention is $1,000. / Apply by June 30, 2024

 

  • Earl B. Dickerson Fellowship: The University of Chicago Law School invites applications for the Earl B. Dickerson Fellowship, with an appointment at the rank of Instructor, for a two-year term. The Law School seeks candidates who demonstrate the promise of distinguished legal scholarship and law teaching and ideally have relevant practice experience that will qualify them to act as teachers and mentors of students. The program is designed to provide the Fellow with substantial time for writing and research, along with significant research funding where appropriate.   • McMaster University Fully Funded Master of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering: McMaster University in Canada offers a fully funded Master of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering. M.A.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering is a thesis-based program where students are required to complete courses in addition to writing and defending a thesis. Full-time MASc students receive funding from the department/supervisor in the form of scholarships and/or teaching assistantships (funding is for 24 months).   • CSPC Presidential Fellows Program: The Presidential Fellows Program provides top college students in the United States and around the world with the opportunity to study the U.S. Presidency, the public policymaking process, and our President’s relationships with Congress, allies, the media, and the American public. Over an academic year, the Fellows learn about leadership and governance, share their outstanding research, and explore careers in public service. Under the guidance of CSPC, the Fellows are selected by their colleges and universities who are partner institutions in the Fellows Program. Students who are not members of a partner institution are invited to apply for the At-Large Presidential Fellowship. Typically, Fellows are seniors in an undergraduate program, but advanced underclassmen or graduate students can also participate. / Apply by July 1, 2024

 

  • GAANN Fellowship in Cyber-Security of Power Systems: The Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN) Fellowship in Cyber-Security of Power Systems is available for NC State graduate students who intend to become university teachers and/or researchers. Fellows must pursue an interdisciplinary course of study, combining a major in one of the participating departments with a minor and research project in power systems. The Fellowship is awarded based on academic performance and financial need, upon the recommendation of the student’s department and approval by the Graduate School and the Fellowship Program Selections Committee. / Apply by July 1, 2024

 

  • Peace Corps Volunteers: Peace Corps Volunteers work abroad for 24 months after 3 months of training. Volunteers work with governments, schools, non-profit organizations, non-government organizations, and entrepreneurs in education, hunger, business, information technology, agriculture, and the environment. Peace Corps Volunteers serve in 75 countries in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Central America and Mexico, South America, Europe, the Pacific Islands, and the Middle East. PCVs receive a living allowance, free travel, and transition rewards after completing 27 months of service.   • NYU Cyber Fellows Program: The NYU Cyber Fellows program is a master’s degree initiative designed to respond to concerns over the growing shortfall in the number of cybersecurity professionals.  NYU Cyber Fellows receive scholarships that cover roughly 75% of tuition for US residents, and as a part-time program, that offers much of the course work online, it is also an accessible program for those currently working full-time. Among the many advantages of the NYU Cyber Fellows program is that the students are given access to NYC3’s Cyber Range — a virtual training network designed to prepare students to respond to real-life threats in real-time. / Apply by July 1, 2024

 

  • University of Memphis Fully Funded Master’s in French and Spanish: The University of Memphis, based in Memphis, Tennessee offers a fully funded master’s in French and Spanish. The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures offers a program leading to the Master of Arts degree in Romance Languages with a concentration in either French or Spanish. Graduate assistantships are available on a competitive basis. The current stipend is approximately $10,000 per academic year plus a tuition waiver. Graduate students who obtain a graduate assistantship are usually supported for two academic years provided their academic and teaching performance are satisfactory. / Apply by July 1, 2024

 

  • Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Fellowships: The Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Fellowships aim to provide Indian faculty, researchers, and professionals the opportunity to teach, conduct research, or carry out a combination of teaching and research at a U.S. institution. Depending on the U.S. host institution, it is likely that the grantee may contribute towards developing a curriculum and conducting workshops and seminars. These fellowships are for four to nine months. / Apply by July 1, 2024

 

  • NASA Postdoctoral Program: The NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) provides early-career and more senior scientists the opportunity to share in NASA’s mission, to reach for new heights, and reveal the unknown so that what we do and learn will benefit all humankind. NASA Postdoctoral Fellows work on 1 to 3-year assignments with scientists and engineers at NASA centers and institutes to advance missions in earth science, heliophysics, planetary science, astrophysics, space bioscience, aeronautics, engineering, human exploration, space operations, astrobiology, and science management. Stipends start at a minimum of $70,000 per year and include other benefits and travel allowances. / Apply by July 1, 2024

 

  • RPB Medical Student Eye Research Fellowship: The Medical Student Fellowship (MSF) encourages gifted medical school students to consider careers in eye research and allows them to take one year off from their studies to participate in a research project at an RPB-supported department of ophthalmology. RPB-supported Chairs may nominate a medical student before his/her third or fourth year of medical school. Only MD students are eligible; MD/PhD students are not eligible to apply. The award is $30,000. Applications received with no prior nomination will not be accepted. Two nomination deadlines per year.   • Barcelona School of Economics Fully Funded Master’s in Finance: Barcelona School of Economics, based in Barcelona offers a fully funded master’s in Finance. This is an interdisciplinary approach combining Finance and Economics. The program is designed to give students the strong modeling techniques, econometric tools, and advanced coding skills needed for the top jobs in banking, consulting, and fintech. Funding is available for top candidates. Each year, they provide merit-based funding to Master’s students. Around 36% of matriculated students have received full or partial funding for their studies. Waivers cover 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% of tuition fees. A limited number of fully-funded scholarships (100% of fees and some additional stipend, depending on the scholarship). / Apply by July 2, 2024

 

  • William T. Grant Scholars: The William T. Grant Scholars Program supports promising early-career researchers from diverse disciplines. Candidates are nominated by a supporting institution and must submit five-year research plans that demonstrate creativity, intellectual rigor, and address issues that have compelling relevance for theory, and policies or practices, affecting the settings of youth ages 8 to 25 in the United States or a vulnerable subpopulation of those youth. Every year, 4-6 William T. Grant Scholars are selected and each receives $350,000 distributed over five years. / Apply by July 3, 2024

 

  • Aspire Leaders Program: The Aspire Leaders Program, a free leadership development for low-income, first-generation college students founded by Harvard faculty, provides professional development workshops, a global network of peers and world-class educators, and the chance to apply for financial awards to drive change in your communities. Applicants who are 18-29 years old, enrolled in college or recently graduated, low-income, and first-generation to go to university are eligible to apply. The program is 14 weeks long with an average commitment of 5 hours/week and offers three cohorts per year. / Apply by July 3, 2024

 

  • Urban Studies International Fellowships: The purpose of the Urban Studies International Fellowship is to expand theoretical and empirical understanding of the major social, economic, political, and other problems associated with the rapid processes of urban growth in the Global South. The fellowship covers the costs of a sabbatical period (3 – 6 months) at a university of the candidate’s choice in the Global North or South to write up the candidate’s existing research findings in the form of publishable articles or a book in collaboration with their host university. The scholar must hold a Ph.D. and be a national from a country in the Global South. / Apply by July 5, 2024
